Hardcover Good with no dust jacket
Superbly illustrated history of costume with five hundred plates of costume through the ages. Complete in six volumes Morocco 3/4 leather bound with raised bands at the spine and gilt edged to top edge. Red Marbling to boards and endpapers. Bindings are in excellent condition, boards are worn and a bit stained. Shelfwear is moderate to heavy. A bit browned and spotted throughout including text, but this doesn't matter as it's in French ! The plates are in superb condition overall, tissue covers have helped protect the fabulous illustrated plates. A very heavy set with high overseas postage - 12kgs.
