Our major sections are Military and War History, Food and Drink, Art & Architecture plus General, Historical and Children's Fiction. Travel, Exploration, Adventure and Self-Help bookshelves are packed too.
Latest News Prices Reduced - Most large format paperback fiction now reduced to just $9. (Recent releases are excluded). With a swap value of $4 for books kept in excellent condition that's a net cost of $5.
Swap Value - Virtually all our fiction paperbacks are capable of being swapped for another book once read, if returned in similar condition. A $10 paperback will attract a $5 swap credit against an immediate further purchase. Excellent for regular readers who don't want to keep their books.
Of course , should you want to keep them, give them to your friends or feed them to the dog that's your choice. It's your book after all. Books need to be returned by the end of the month shown on the sticker. It will never be less than 3 months.
Purchasing - We are currently over-loaded with most adult fiction, though bestsellers like The Help or any Scandinavian crime authors will be bought/exchanged if in very good condition . You should definitely call the shop before bringing books in. Refer to the 'Books Wanted' link for more detailed info on the books we are buying.

Australian orders via Australia Post. Registered Post $3 extra, please
request in customer comments at checkout. Orders over A$150 will be
registered at no extra cost.
Internationally via Skippy Post (delivery in 3 to 4 weeks) a reliable service up to 25% cheaper than Australia Post (delivery time 2 weeks). We can send by regular Australia Post at the greater cost if requested. Slow Boat surface mail will only be considered for very heavy packages over 2kg Rates
