BOOKS BOUGHT

Whilst we buy a wide range of books we are particularly interested in:
Good quality modern and historical fiction
Enid Blyton, Biggles and Classic Illustrated Children's books.
History, military and war books,
classic cookery, art, architecture, design and photography.
Motor and aircraft

Acceptable minimum condition of books is not easy to state. Title is more important than condition, though obviously books in better condition will be worth more

Paperback fiction should be in at least very good condition though scruffier copies of George Orwell, Clockwork Orange, William Burroughs, Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird, Catch-22 etc will usually be accepted unless falling apart

WHAT WE DON'T BUY

Mills & Boons, Condensed Books and indeed most romance novels
Books in poor condition unless very old and worthy of repair, books with missing pages or excessive under-lining.
Encyclopaedia sets unless it is a 50 year+ set of Britannicas in very good condition.
Computer books or magazines (except Military and Surfing)
Children's series books Goosebumps, Saddle Club, Choose your own adventures
The Boy's Book of Nits and anything by Julian Barnes (I read one once and it hurt)

DAZE STRIP OF THE MOMENT

"It's more bad news from the bank, Meadows.
I'm just going to have to sell another one of your organs."
